Yes, the Uganda Karate Federation (UKF) is officially affiliated with the World Karate Federation (WKF), the global governing body for sport karate. This affiliation allows UKF to follow internationally recognized standards for training, competitions, and refereeing. It also enables Ugandan karatekas to compete in WKF-sanctioned events, including the World Karate Championships, African Karate Championships, among others
UKF recognizes multiple karate styles, including Shotokan, Goju-Ryu, Shito-Ryu, and Wado-Ryu
To participate, you must train under a credible dojo Karate Club. Activities details, including registration deadlines, will be announced on our website and social media pages.
