This essential gathering brought together the federation’s leadership to strategize, evaluate progress, and align plans for upcoming initiatives aimed at advancing karate across Uganda.

Strategic Planning: Outlined long-term goals to promote karate development and expand grassroots programs.
Performance Review: Assessed progress on training programs, national events, and athlete development.
Event Calendar: Finalized the schedule for upcoming championships, courses, and international engagements.
Policy and Governance: Discussed operational improvements, athlete welfare, and ways to strengthen the federation’s structure.

We are proud to commemorate the successful completion of the 1st Edition of the National Karate Championship, held on 26th October 2024 at MTN Arena Lugogo.
The event brought together top athletes, referees, and enthusiasts from across Uganda, showcasing remarkable talent, discipline, and sportsmanship. It served as a testament to the growing strength and unity of the karate community, leaving a lasting impact on all participants and spectators.
The championship featured:
Intense Kata and Kumite matches across all age categories
Inspiring performances from rising stars and seasoned champions
Special recognition awards for outstanding athletes and contributors
This event not only celebrated our athletes' skills but also strengthened the spirit of karate in Uganda, setting an exciting precedent for future championships. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the coaches, referees, sponsors, and everyone who contributed to this unforgettable event
